Hikvision Security Advisory for I-series NVRs

Dear valued partners,

Hikvision recently learned of an issue in our I-series NVRs. We are writing to inform you of it and to provide you with the software upgrade that solves it. The issue has a very low chance of occurring. However, we ask for your urgent action as there is a risk of a recording anomaly.

As noted above, only IP cameras and NVRs of the above versions that support and both use the Enhanced SDK Service, and that have been connected with the Enhanced SDK protocol are at risk.

Solution

As Hikvision distributor, we ask for your cooperation to ensure that the firmware upgrade is being applied to all products in use. Please contact your installers and customers and urge them to install the firmware upgrade. The download link is provided below.
